Rooted in Community: A Reflection on Recognition, Healing, and What’s Ahead
When I first dreamed of Armonía, I wasn’t just envisioning a wellness space. I was imagining a community.
A place where people could come as they are: hurting, healing, growing, questioning, and know they’re not alone. A place where connection isn’t just a side benefit of healing…it’s the foundation of it.
Over the years, that vision has evolved in ways I couldn’t have fully predicted. And recently, something beautiful happened that reminded me how far we’ve come.
This fall, both Armonía Counseling and Armonía Life Design were honored in the Fishers Community Votes awards.
Armonía Counseling was awarded Gold.
Armonía Life Design was awarded Silver.
This recognition means so much. Not so much because of the awards themselves, but because of what they represent: you.
Your trust.
Your courage.
Your belief in this work.
Your willingness to walk through our doors, sometimes on your hardest days, and be part of something deeply human.
Healing Is Meant to Happen Together
It’s easy to forget that we were never meant to do this life alone. Especially when it comes to healing.
So much of our pain isolates us. It convinces us we have to figure it out ourselves. That no one else could understand. But that’s rarely true. More often than not, the things we carry are universal: grief, shame, burnout, transitions, longing.
And when we gather in spaces where those things can be named, witnessed, and held; something shifts. Shame loosens. Insight arrives. Healing begins.
That’s why community has always been central to what we offer at Armonía. Whether it’s one-on-one therapy, sound healing and body work, or our community gatherings, the thread is the same: you’re not alone.
Looking Toward the New Year
As we look ahead to 2026, I’m feeling excited about what’s unfolding.
In the new year, we’ll be introducing new group programs that speak to some of the deepest needs we’ve seen in our community. This includes supportive spaces for women who’ve experienced trauma, and creative art therapy groups for children.
We’ll also continue to offer gatherings, like vision board workshops and seasonal circles. These will be opportunities to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your own rhythm alongside others doing the same.
We’re not sharing full details just yet, but if your heart feels a little tug reading this, I hope you’ll make sure you’re on our email list. That’s where you’ll hear about everything first.
From the Bottom of My Heart: Thank You
To everyone who voted. To everyone who’s walked through our doors. To everyone who’s shared a moment, a breath, a breakthrough, or a piece of your journey with us, thank you.
Your presence is what makes this more than a wellness center. It’s what makes Armonía a living, breathing community.
In a time where the world can feel overwhelming, I hope this space reminds you that healing is still possible. That connection is still available. That support is still within reach.
And that community isn’t just a luxury. It’s a lifeline.
With gratitude,
Donna Marie
